Coach Jorge Perez

Jorge Perez is a dedicated Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner and coach, holding the rank of 2nd Degree Black Belt. His Jiu Jitsu journey began in 2004, and his commitment to the sport has only grown stronger over the years. In 2008, Jorge transitioned into coaching, sharing his knowledge and passion for the sport with others. 

Recognizing the challenges of balancing a busy schedule, he created a 5 am class, affectionately known as the “Zombie Krew” due to its early start time. This class provided an opportunity for him and his students to train when evening classes were not feasible.

Over the years, Jorge has tested his skills at Fight to Win, Submission Hunter Pro, and various local tournaments, continuously seeking to improve and refine his techniques.

In 2017, Jorge realized a long-held dream by establishing his own gym, Zombie Krew Jiu Jitsu. Today, his vision expands even further as he joins forces with Gann Fight and Fitness, uniting them to build a larger, stronger Jui Jitsu community and team. His mission goes beyond competition and business; he truly believes in the transformative power of Jiu Jitsu and has dedicated his life to sharing it with the world.

Beyond the mats, Jorge enjoys spending quality time with his best friend and wife Vanessa, who shares his passion for Jiu Jitsu as a blue belt. Together, they form a loving blended family of two teenage boys and two teenage girls which has added an extra layer of fulfillment to his life. Jorge Perez is not only a dedicated martial artist but also a family man and community builder.
